REQUESTED SERVICE: CITIZEN REQUEST - STORMWATER
The City of Riviera Beach has chosen to aggressively address historical stormwater concerns by developing a Stormwater Master Plan (SWMP). The capital projects that result will focus on eliminating problems in areas with failing drainage systems and on problems in areas that lack sufficient drainage systems.

Ultimately, the SWMP must have public acceptance and support to be a success. Therefore, the project effort includes a 'Public Involvement and Education' element structured to support the City by engaging citizens and elected officials in the SWMP process. An active public involvement and education program will provide important feedback to help ensure the SWMP's success.
